{"id":153506,"date":"2026-02-18T14:56:41","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T13:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/veryswing.com\/veryswing-becomes-a-peppol-network-access-point.html"},"modified":"2026-10-08T18:14:44","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T16:14:44","slug":"veryswing-becomes-a-peppol-network-access-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/veryswing.com\/en\/veryswing-becomes-a-peppol-network-access-point.html","title":{"rendered":"Veryswing Becomes a Peppol Network Access Point"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of January 2026, <b>Veryswing has been <\/b><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">an<\/strong> <b>official <\/b><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Access Point on the Peppol network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the culmination of a rigorous certification process that requires compliance with<a href=\"https:\/\/peppol.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Peppol authority&#8217;s<\/a> technical standards as well as ISO 27001 certification.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that&#8217;s good news for all users of Veryswing software who send or receive invoices internationally.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because the electronic invoicing reform doesn&#8217;t just affect France!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timeline for the Adoption of Electronic Invoicing in Europe<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several countries are gradually adopting new regulations on electronic invoicing:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>January 2026: <a href=\"https:\/\/efacture.belgium.be\/fr\/news\/periode-de-tolerance-pendant-les-trois-premiers-mois-de-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Belgium <\/a><em>(with a grace period from January through March 2026<\/em>), Croatia, Denmark<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February 2026: Poland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 2026: France<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>January 2027: Germany, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a few special cases in certain European countries:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Portugal<\/strong>: Electronic invoicing is not mandatory. However, starting in January 2026, Portuguese companies issuing invoices in PDF format will be required to include a qualified electronic signature (QES)\u2014that is, a digital signature that confirms the document\u2019s authenticity and integrity. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spain<\/strong>: Electronic invoicing is not mandatory, but invoices must now include a QR code for verification purposes, as well as the statement \u201cInvoice verifiable on the STA website\u201d or \u201cVERIFACTU.\u201d Starting in 2027: Electronic invoicing will become mandatory for companies with annual turnover exceeding 8 million euros.
